In the Beginning Was the Water is a symphonic performance by composer Nico Cartosio, filmed at Venice’s historic Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista.

Performed by the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Parma Opera Chorus, the production brings together music, architecture and the timeless symbolism of water. The film was captured as a multi-camera production across the historic venue.
